It’s new but so far so good! It’s not loud at all. The video on my phone makes it sound louder than it is. Spend the little bit of extra. It’s worth it. The ice is awesome and the reservoir tank when the ice melts if you don’t take it out of the basket quick enough recycles to continue to make ice. It was easy to set up and very simple to turn on one button to start the ice. And started making ice in a little under 10 minutes. It does not make the ice quickly but I’m ok with that

Very happy with the ice maker, it works exactly as described. Soft, small nuggets similar to Sonic ice.
these are great little machines and make ice fast. So easy to use its almost scary. I have 3 older models of this and after a few years the internal hoses will clog up with sediment and it'll stop making ice. You can fix it by taking it all apart and cleaning the hoses out or you can only use filtered water on these or it'll only last a few years before it stops.
